Wolves have earned their bad reputation from stories like Red Riding Hood and from farmers etc. who have lost their sheep. The wolf is a shy animal and normally never aggressive towards humans. Take a look at this fellow. Does he look like a "bad wolf"?

Very good picture of the wolf,good clarity too.You must be right when you said it is a shy animal and it is not aggressive,i think i have read somewhere what you talked about.

A great shot of the "big bad wolf". He/she looks beautiful. I like the color of his/her coat. We have wolfs in the woods here and so far i have not heard that they attack any humans.

Ted Gundy was a calm looking fellow himself. You can never judge a book by its cover. This is beautiful and you are correct about their behavior. I think it hurt the natural order of things in the western states when they became almost extinct. We should learn from that.

He's a Gorgeous wolf Raj, we had one in our backyard not this past spring but he was black & huge. This one has a fabulous coat and sure is watching you.
