An Egret waiting for the wave to crash. It then quickly looks around to see what the wave has brought. This fellow considered a long stretch of the beach as his own and did not allow any other birds to land there.

It looks like he is dreading the cold water. We all know that feeling. Good capture and I like the feel of anticipation in this one Raj.

Poor egret looks a little confused. Probably trying to decide if he should go surfing, or not. Excellent picture.

Sounds like a pretty smart Egret to me! lol He must have been fun to watch. I'm glad you told us about him. It makes this wonderful picture more of a story. Those waves are just beautiful with the white foam. This was in India, no doubt?
