This is the Blue Morpho Butterfly - The inside of its wings is blue with brown edges. Photo taken at a Butterfly Park. Even there you need a lot of patience to get a good shot. The best time is early afternoon when they don't fly about so much but I was there in the morning!

My monitor must be out of sync. It looks brownish to me. LOL. Very nice shot of that butterfly, Raj. I think the Toledo Zoo has something like this, but I'm not sure. I may have to take a look. I remember being somewhere, where the butterflies were flying all over, even landing on me. Been a long time though.

You're right Raj, even in a butterfly park it's not easy to make a good capture of a butterfly. Although they're not that active in the morning hours, one must have sufficient patience too. Your result however is wonderful again. Very good work again my friend.
Regards, Cornelius.

This photo is beautiful, and looks very much like you successfully had your practice with taking these shots. I can imagine just what we might see if you were there in the early afternoon when they weren't so busy! Anyway, a good job well done.

A great shot Raj. Did you ever think when you were sailing the raging seas, you would be taking a photo of a butterfly in a Butterfly Park for a bunch of folks to talk about all over the world? If not, you should have. A really good post. Have a good weekend.

I guess Jimbob doesn't know they are blue on the other side. What wonderful detail, Raj. He looks like Atlas carrying the weight of the world on his back. lol
