Hard to believe but this interesting looking building was once a police station in the port of Hamburg!

I don't find it hard to believe in the slightest Raj, but maybe that's because I've lived in and around Liverpool for 37 years and it has several buildings that were obviously built at the same time as your beauty and they are all used for different purposes.

Our police station was an old structure similar to this, until it was replaced...maybe in the seventies. Nice shot of the grand looking building. I love that sky in the shot.

I was many times in Hamburg Raj, but think I'm lucky that I've never found out that this a police station, lol.
Very fine and impressive image (not impressive because it was once a police station, lol again).

Clarity is super and I suppose if you had to go to jail, this would have been a nice one. What is it used for now? I really like the brightness of this photo.
Good post Raj.
