This transport plane Airbus Beluga flew over when I was taking photos in one of the gardens yesterday. It was coming in to land on the runway of the Airbus factory in Hamburg. Airbus is constructed at Toulouse, France, Hamburg Germany and Seville Spain. Big sections of the planes are transported back and forth between these factories. Some of the parts such as wings, the Rolls Royce turbines etc. are made in the U.K.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Very nice shot, Raj. You're lucky to be at the right time and place. Unlike another funny looking cargo airplane, Aero Spacelines' 'Guppy' this Airbus has jet motors.

Wow. Never saw one of these. Interesting info on their production. I see why they are called Belugas. They do look like the whale.

Raj - Unusual, rather homely perhaps, is this plane. Your capture is certainly not so. Well done. Thad
