This is a Mara family. The maras are something like a larger version of guinea pigs and are found mostly in the steppes of Argentina.

I think I have seen these before in a local 'Aniaml Park' near to me!..

They have a few of these in the Rain Forest section of the Cleveland Zoo. I never got a decent shot of one yet! Excellent work, Raj.
