My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Beautiful work in controlling some difficult lighting conditions, Raj. The lighting is excellent as is the detail...especially in the feathers. I like the butt end motion blur as the happy duck plunges into the water. Gorgeous work although I would have cropped a drop more off the right. Centered subjects make my teeth hurt.
It is a lovely shot, good lighting and great detail. I do agree with Roger re a crop in from the right border, almost to the tall flowers. The duck is on a slight left angle with head turned to the left, and should generally have twice the space in front (direction of gaze) than that to the rear. While it is a compositional teaching, there are always exceptions, and because of the duck's close proximity I don't think there's anything to be gained here. It's more of an "Up close and personal" image situation.
I'm a bit like that duck...I need to cool off in the pond!...'Phew'!
