In Africa the lions sleep up to 20 hours a day. Here in the lions' enclosure there is no need to hunt anything except flies and good food is served punctually - so they are bored. You can see the bored expression of the lioness here.

Poor animal, that's not a normal life, but it has no choice. Very good close up.

We used to have a Safari park where they could roam here..I drove through it once..They came pretty close...and the monkeys snapped my radio arial...Rotters...Nice portrait..R.

When people are bored, there are several ways to entertain them(selves).
Animals, not living in their natural enviroment don't have this possibility. Did you ever see a lion watching TV or playing in a band, Raj?, lol.
