Feeding the pigeons in Piazza San Marco, Venice was always a major tourist attraction. As they attempt to keep Venice clean, there are no more vendors selling corn to feed the birds. One gets fined if caught feeding the birds. Good human (and bird) interest photo, Raj.

The gulls are well behaved waiting their turn...here they practically attack you while the pigeons are more cautious...this guy must be well acquainted with these birds...great slice of life.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It's amazing how birds (animals too) can adapt to people & city life. The pigeons have total trust in the guy that he will provide them with food. Excellent capture, Raj.
He must be related to the Birdman Of Alcatraz. LOL. Outstanding capture, Raj. The birds not only trust that guy, but they don't seem to be disturbed by you being near, either.
A wonderful city shot but no one feeds the pigeons in downtown Chicago - too much of a nuisance I guess. Birds and man seem at ease as if it is a daily ritual.
