LOL....no, they use a goat tied to the chimney :-). Thats what they used to do a long time ago, i was told. I am only sorry that there isn´t one now, would have added something extra to the photo :-)
The first thing I thought of was a goat, but it looks like Tomeast has got that part of the festivities covered!!! A great and definitely a unique shot.. :)

that is so unusual - turf on your roof! It must be a cheap way of lagging and keeping in the heat. In the UK you would have roof rot because of so much rain! lol! nice capture Susanne!

The former architecture student in me is wondering how they got the grass to grow on the roof like that. I like all the elements to this photo, I feel like I could spend my afternoons there. Thanks for sharing.
Such a little house but there is so much character in it. It’s even got a hand drawn water pump. Now who gets to mow the roof I wonder. That is a very interesting photo indeed.
What a super picture. I have been looking at your gallery, and I am glad to see such diversity, and many, many artistic compositions. I don't want to miss a shot, so I am putting you on my friends list. I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Great!
