The reflections of the stones in the water look like mountains to me. Really nice how you have composed this shot.

I like this a lot, the grey of the stone and the colours of the lichens give lots of texture and the reflections are superb.

Really nice 'still life', Susanne. I love the textures and reflections of the rocks... and I like the simplicity of the shot.

I like the water lines and mosses on the rocks that indicate they have been covered with different levels of water over time. Great reflections too.

I am a frustrated rockhound...took one course in geology in university to satisfy some requirement or another, and loved it, and didn't have room for any more courses and if I wanted to graduate on time. :) I got absorbed, looking at this in full screen, in the narrow limestone layer on these rocks...maybe they were on a sea floor at one time before the boulders were formed, but not for long. Although they were surely in and out of water over the eons. Great color variation, allowing us to see beauty in stones that might otherwise be overlooked.
