We have had a lot of cloudy days here. This day was no exception in the morning, but in the afternoon the clouds scattered and the sun came through. This was taken at a lake not far from where I live just before the sun started to shine. All comments are most wellcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

Excellent work Susanne. Like the low perspective and wavelet around the rock. Wonderful elements here. Good exposure with lots of gradated tones. Very nice and another for my SEFA file. Thanks for the share.

Magnificent .... I can sense both the calmness of the lake & the moodiness of the clouds. Love how you did in this in B & W. Wonderful work Susanne. + Faves!

The low view makes this a very interesting image. The B/W presentation and the active clouds add to the beauty of the scene.

Gosh, wow, love this one. Minor point with the cropped tree on the left which looks a little odd, but such a geed perspective.

It reminds me of the original movie Cape Fear. It was in black and white. I fully expect to see something pop out of the water.
I love the angle with the eye being led across the lake to the horizon and that beautiful sky. Very nice post HF.

Cloudy days everywhere this summer Susanne I think. We get the odd day of sun, but the next day the rain and clouds always re-appear. I like the comment about Cape Fear above, because that's what this image makes me think of too. It's a great black and white, full of atmosphere.

The lack of color really allows one to see all of the textures in the water. Great shot!
