These small cottages used to be the home of families with many children about 100 years ago. They didnīt have a lot of land and it was a struggle to survive. Today they are popular summer houses. Hope you enjoy.

All comments are most welcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this would have all the elements of being Rustic. Excellent Susanne.

It's hard to imagine lots of kids staying in the little place. Of course 100 years ago they were helping in the fields, with the laundry, the cooking, wood chopping/stacking, milking. I guess they weren't really in the house that much. Wonderful, thought provoking shot.

Hard to imagine that tall families had to live in these small cottages. They had no other choice, while people that are using the houses now for their holidays, it's their own choice.
Very fine image, Susanne.
