Thank you Corngrowth/Cornelius for finding the answer to what flower this is! -Prunella vulgaris, known as common selfheal, heal-all, heart-of-the-earth

I don't know exactly, but I think they are some species of clover. I get the white variety in my yard sometimes. Nice color and a really nice image for the desktop, Susanne.

They make a pretty desktop Susanne. I think JimboB might be right about the clover. It reminds me of what we call Creepin' Charlie.
It really spreads.

There is something about the purples and lavenders set against their rich green foliage that I love. Nice work on this shot!

They don't look like the normal breed of violets that are in our yard. And they're very cute! A superb capture with great color and focus girl!

I do suppose it's the prunella vulgaris, known as common selfheal, heal-all, heart-of-the-earth, Susanne. Please, check out THIS LINK or THIS LINK to see whether I'm right or wrong.

I always think it is amazing how nice those little things are if you just take the time and watch. Usually one just goes by and doesn't notice. So, thanks for both the image of those cute little flowers, and for the reminder to take a closer look!

Susanne - They look like clover, based on the shape of the bloom and the leaves. It can also be called trefoil. But, I may be wrong as well. It does make a pretty desktop. Thad
