A reminder that it is actually spring, even if it is late for around here. This is a view of the tidal Gorge Waterway, near the reversing rapids caused by a big rock in the narrowest part, right under the Tillicum Bridge, along with a native midden. You can read about the first nations story about how a little girl named Camossung had the bad luck to get turned into this rock because of her eating habits. A local boater decided to dynamite Camossung in 1960, leaving a diminished falls.

I should send this to my brother. He lives for, and will appreciate, the *post* pun (whether it was intentional or not).

Actually, I do like the composition here, with that bright red light post standing tall amongst all that nature provides. A fun contrast.
