This farmer had cleaned off his pond and was ready for skating. I thought it made a good photo. It was one of those hazy day in Iowa. The sun was there, but not quite out.

I love the landscape of rural America, with a smattering of barns and farms here and there. You've captured a lovely scene and the red barns and outbuildings make for an excellent focal point. Fantastico, Carol!

The red barn and buildings versus the white snow are outstanding.
Finish it off with a perfect vantage point and you have a masterpiece. I would be framing this one.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
It makes a GREAT photo! The red farm structures really stand out, and the view of the rest of the area is wonderful. Excellent shot, Carol.

This is one stunning winter landscape photo with lovely colours great depth of field and outstanding composition too.The farmer did a great job on that pond and you might get the chance to photo your friend having a good winter time on the lake too.

Sorry, I'll pass. My skates and blades cost too much to use on rough ice and that surface does look a little rough. Fantastic composition and scene
