I was in a little two person piston engined helicopter called a Hughes 300. They take the door off to give unrestricted view.

Excellent shot! The patterns in the water make this shot very interesting. Great angle.

Beautifully captured, especially from a moving helicopter.

It is a very nice picture. Besides the boat, the water tide or the efects of the boats passing by, give the water a lovely scenario. A great photo and very original point of view.

Having submitted it 5-1/2 years ago, I imagine you never expected to get another subscription on it. It just happened to show up on the main page and was intriguing enough to warrant a closer look. I'm glad I did. I have a "water"-themed screensaver that I created a number of years ago for my Mac screens, filled with about 175 of the best water images I've seen on Caedes since 2006. A copy of this one is going in that screensaver. The angle is very unique, as Sandman said. I'm guessing you were on a bridge above it. A helicopter's vibration would have messed with the focus, which is very clear for a shot taken that long ago. And normally, sun reflection on water is an element to avoid or at least tame, but here it is to your advantage and not overwhelming... it's half of what makes the photo, the angle being the other half. Excellent shot.
