Althought the name sounds Dutch, read in the links that this aquatic plant is endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa. Very interesting image Susan with a really gorgeous background.

Great photo Susan. I like all the lines going all directions. Makes me want to sit and relax and have some pond stew. I've had pond water, but never stew. Good photo and have a good weekend. I would love to see a photo of the mountain all by its lonesome.

I sure can tell that ain't no red blooded American redneck word. I gets all tongue tied jist a tryin' to say it. I betcha it's a word them city folks use over in Yonkers. You say they makes stew out of that there stuff? I sure hopes they throw in a few taters and ham hocks to give it a little body. Very nice picture, specially the mountains in the back.
