What a cute house. That tree is huge! I wonder how old it is? We don't have very many trees that old here. Very nicely framed.

What a lovely cottage! I could imagine living happily ever after there. Your framing sets it off so well and gives it a nice dreamy quality, too.

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus

I don't know if these are all your neighbors but I'm envious ;) Love all these homes you've shown us with their beautiful gardens and lovely architecture. You capture them to perfection Terry and I'm glad you share them ;) Thanks.

This is indeed a fairytale of a cottage pointed up by the pastel colors with which it was painted and the whimsical placement of the flowers, the watering can over to the right, the nodding pink flower to the left capped off by the old-fashioned rope swing hanging from the branch of the tree to the far left. Of course, as has been mentioned, the diminutive effect of this builidng is enhanced by the massive ....looks like a maple tree...that obviously has seen many years. I like the way you've used the natural light to highlight the features of the house and its surroundings to such an effective offering. And your unique framing is the perfect touch.. thanks :)PJ

What a good eye you have. The lighting is perfect and the colors are terrific. The framing adds that little 'oomph' that makes the whole image just perfect.

You sure can pick 'em, Terry, the shots I mean. This place is idyllic. Something out of a kid's picture book. It is a very inviting image and that large tree is just super. Everything about this is just grand! Of course, your shot is clear, composed and exceptionally crisp as usual. Great work.

Is this the home that I thought was yours? I mean, had you posted this photo before as it seems most familiar? Very nice by the way!

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~

I just found this in the voting booth. I love the way you framed that charming house with the tree. The photo is as pretty as a picture. I’ve got nothing against borders and nothing against this one either but I think the photo is so good it doesn’t really need a border.

What a warm friendly house in a "Mother Goose" setting. A wonderful and delightful posting Terry. Composing the shot dead on the way you did, tucking part of the house behind the tree was brilliant.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

This is is very eye-catching and charming image, but I wonder if you might consider posting a second version, without the framing? (The swing seems like such an integral part of the picture, yet it is somewhat obscured by the frame.)
