O hushed October morning mild, Thy leaves have ripened to the fall; Tomorrow's wind, if it be wild, Should waste them all.  ~Robert Frost

The vibrant orange here looks like a flame Terry. Since we don't get any of that wonderful color, I'm so thrilled to see it through your eyes. Magnificent clarity, color and composition. Excellent post and very nice words by RF. Thanks.

Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.

Hi Terry, Yes, fall is a bittersweet time. The end of summer, coming of winter - but oh the beauty of its grand farewell! You've captured that so well here with your photo and your quote. Another awesome job.

Someone above said "vibrant" and that's the word I was looking for, Vibrant. Love the leaves against the blue sky. And the colors of those leaves are beautiful with just a nice mix of rusts and reds. Simple and beautiful and most fitting of the Frost quote you chose :)

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~

The color of these leaves are so pretty Terry in contrast with that blue sky. I can't wait for our trees to turn like this. Glad you're sharing yours with us. Perfect clarity also in this.
