Wonderful perspective view up those neat stone steps. That plus the combination of lush foliage & fence lead the eye right up to the framed opening of the gate. ...Ed

I sure do like your POV here and that iron fence and gate too...with just a peek, we can only wonder at the garden itself but with such an entrance I'm sure it must be quite lovely...nicely done here, Tom.

Soon I saw a wonderful movie called «The Secret Garden» (1993). This magnificent photograph of Tom reminded me of the beautiful garden of the movie... This is the entrance to Paradise...

I live here and now, but look forward...
The way you bring us through a dark, heavily-grown area and up into the light is educated composition at its best. I see where one commenter likened it to a movie scene and another was wondering if the bird is real. I concur with both. It has the quality of a staged movie shot where the camera rolls forward to emotionally move the viewer into a new scene, one that is meant to uplift the spirit. As to the bird, looking closely I think I see a circular stand that is holding the metallic bird in position. 5 stars!
