Was missing Chaotica, so rendered a randomly generated fractal after pushing it around to make a better composition.
Edited in Photoshop CS5 using a variety of filters.

At first I thought this was an abstract of the Caedes spider logo, the spider being the green shape. Lovely contrasts and composition with the main activity on the left, appearing as though on the move through the rest of the frame to the right... a hint at motion. Nice. Our old friend tealeaves taught me to appreciate and enjoy fractals (I tried making one myself but laughed much too hard to consider submitting it--much harder than they look).

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Thanks Nik... it gave me a bit of trouble as it seemed too harsh at first, but tinkering with the Photoshop enhancement settings helped a lot. I'd forgotten about the spider logo! Might be fun to make another Caedes wallpaper some time.
