Well, not really. Vasili of Mt. Sinai actually...thought it would be fun to add this photo. We visited in Dec. of 2010 and it was quite amazing. I asked my husband to smile and would you believe it, the camel actually turned his head and smiled! Appreciate any advice and comments. I still have the problem of snapping these photos too quickly, but hope to improve at some point!

I think the camel is just happy that your "Lawrence" has gotten off his back! Lawrence mostly worn white clothes due to the desert heat so I am guessing that since your guy has dark clothes on and maybe a jacket, it may be a bit cooler on this particular day. Would love to see a picture of you with the camel too ;)

Oh what a great capture ! The camel sure is smiling - or pretending to. I think they can be a little bad tempered sometimes but maybe your 'Lawrence' had the magic taming touch this time :)
