"A spider web is a structure created by a spider out of proteinaceous spider silk extruded from its spinnerets." Been around for over 100 million years. Barely visible but viewed this in our garden and had to take a photo. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Appreciate it.

Very good photo showing the web perfectly Vicki. I wonder if they were "giant Spiders" (Grrr) 100 million years ago.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
I have walked into many a barely visible spider web Vicki. I suspect I look silly doing my removing the web dance.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
In these conditions it's extremely difficult to capture a spider web, but the result is beyond any expectation, Vicki.

As a child I watched spiders webs for hours on end even dropped a bug in the web sometimes to see wat would happen huuummmmm... but after awhile figured out the spider was happy and the bug not so. Some dark memories you have awakened in me Vicki. Great shot but I will have see a shrink now :o)
