Well, on a walk in the small forest near our home, we have seen this for many years. Quite unusual, but thought it was intriguing. Thanks for views and comments, appreciate a lot.
Vicki, in many villages in my country it's customary to put plants on the windowsill. But I've never seen anything like this. Quite unusual indeed. Thanks to your keen eyes, I now have a smile on my face (😁) by watching your good photograph of this remarkable phenomenon, 👍 !

Ir's always good to see a homeowner branching out, staying there without a bark. It would be so much easier just to leave their older homes and allow those homes to take root. But not these people. Twig it here, twig it there, and presto, a great tree house for all generations to come.
Looks it has plenty of growth in it, probably that is what is holding it up. That is quite a capture. Sounds like what I would do after years of going right by it, I would decide to stop and get a photo. Quite unique.
Your image really caught me eye - It is a unique sight to see Vicki - looks like tree roots just left to perhaps eventually rot away - Good Find and Great Capture!!!!!
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
