This shot was taken from the Sears Tower in Chicago while the Queen and I were on vacation in 2009. It almost seems like we can see the planets edge. Hope you like this one 'cause I really do.

Wowser! A really fabulous capture William! It does seem as if you can see the earth's edge!!! I'm assuming that 'the Queen' is your wife, I love that!

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
It does indeed give a sense of the planet with the curved horizon line. A very cool shot that brings back a memory for me. We visited here in July of 2009 when my son graduated from Navy boot camp at Great Lakes, a northern suburb of Chicago. If I'm not mistaken, I think that dome-like shape on the bright green peninsula in the center is the Shedd Aquarium, where we took our son on his first day of Liberty. My only problem with the image is it's not big enough--1780 x 670 is relatively small--as a wallpaper for large monitors it would be pretty pixelated. Despite that, an excellent submission.
