What's around that curve ahead and the next one and the next one....well, head up to Colorado Springs and take the Pike's Peak Highway and you will end up on the top. (14,110 ft.) With lots of curves and a speed limit of around 15 mph, the nineteen mile stretch is a wonderful, but nerve racking fun time. :))

Wonderful contest entry Ruby. Looks like a sharp curve to me ... love the mountains in the background. Very well captured & best of luck.

I can imagine what the ride up is like... my toes would be tingling with every turn of the road... but that wouldn't stop me... Great entry, Sis, the curving road and those mountains are awe-inspiring... and may the luck be yours!

I think I would have included more road and less sky to improve the composition here. I would have been tempted to increase the contrast here a little to make it less misty. The trees in the foreground are good, and otherwise a decent picture.

There's a lot going on here with the contrast between the trees and the mountain and the sky. Looks like you had a wonderful time!

I took that road to the top of Pike's Peak back in '93. It was fantastic, and I loved the store at the summit. I was in there for hours. (That's cause I was scared to drive back down. LOL.) Very nice shot.
