Evidently you were not the pilot. Did you land long? You look a litle high for the approach.

It is almost impossible to get a decent image through airline glass. Focus and color suffer greatly. Maybe a program such as Photofiltre (free) would help clean up the image some. It is obvious your focus was the runway as your DOF is not as good as it should be. However, if it means anything, this is one of the better airline shots I've seen, most are just plain bad. Remember that no camera can match the eye for resolution and what appears good often can't be captured. Just some thoughts, nothing personal :)

Good idea for a photograph. It is difficult to get a clear photograph through glass and from such a high position and the image would have been much easier to capture in good weather, but who can predict the weather. I use Photofilter and it does sharpen up some images, so might be worth a try. Good attempt. I hope you get the opportunity to try the shot again. I for one would not want to be landing that plane - must be quite scary seeing the approach of a runway! :O :) Patti
