Thinking ahead now...Christmas is not far. This is a manipulation of a couple of pictures I took this morning and a little bit of Photoshop CS2. The pictures are a pre-morning sunrise and a light display in the town I work in.
This one's a keeper. There are so many beautiful ways to portray Christmas that I usually begin putting them on my desktop right after Thanksgiving (which, for you non-Americans, is the fourth Thursday in November, commemorating the first harvest by English settlers to the area that came to be known as "Virginia", named for Queen Elizabeth I). I like your use of a sunrise for this shot, symbolic of the literal birth of Christianity (to me, anyway).
