This particular shot inspires me to think upward. It is not that it is so greatly focused but that it is artistic in posture. The freedom and action almost frozen in time with this lovely creature's face looking ahead at me gives me a glimpse into the beauty of birding itself. It is a beautiful bird but not without blemish as seen in the tail feather. Doesn't dissatisfy me at all just makes it more real. Of course I would have preferred to capture this completely stop motion but I still think it is worthy of a look.

It is indeed 'worthy of a look' and once again you have a bird who seemingly stopped what it was doing to focus on you and in quite an unusual position...great shot and series, Frank.

What a series Frank. (o: your making me really jealous now! I especially like the way You've caught the Gull twisting in the air yet it's keeping a keen eye on you. The lighting, & clarity is spot, & while there is slight motion blur at the wing tips it simply adds emphasis to movement.
Shan't give you top marks just yet as I suspect there more to follow. Lol
