I was fooled by Cindy because the red cardinal on her image was an artifical one while I thought that it was a real one.
To prevent that I'll make the same mistake again, I've seen your image several times at full screen size.
I do believe now that this bird of prey is a real one. It's not necessary to believe that you have provided us with a very fine capture, Richie, because I know this for sure (!)

It has a long tail like a kite Count B. You are getting some great shots while on your holiday. The eyes are perfect.
