They have a TV show over here called "One Tree Hill" the lone tree is nicely centered in the middle of the rocks and greenery plus that sky is such a brillant blue. Good one here Richie!

It's lonely at the top, Richie. Had expected some snow there as well. Wish you a safe trip back home. See you back in three days, lol.

Thanks for this fine image!

Medal awarded for perseverance :)

This is a moost appealing image - I love the twisted tree against the clear blue sky. You must be getting a bit of decent weather over yonder.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Looks like it was worth the trip Count B. Now if you can gain some knowledge while you are there.
Beautiful shot and the tree looks great in this setting.

The lone tree looks good against the blue sky and all that green. The climb down will take only two days - but save a sandwich for tomorrow.

This looks familiar. Is that the area where a famous movie was filmed? Can't remember the name. Bob took me by it in his wee car. Near Hadrians Wall?
