Richie, really thought you had forgotten a 'h' in your title, but as I couldn't see a house at all on your image, lol, I was that curious that I've searched for 'ouse'. I found that the name ouse is from the Celtic or pre-Celtic 'udso-s' and probably means simply 'water' or slow flowing river. If so, it makes the title of your image very clear.

Wonderful image again.
