A great action shot of this beautiful bird, Richie. The feather patterns are so pretty, especially on the wings. Congrats for the capture.

I just looked up bittern in wikipedia as I had never heard of them. They look so streamlined and probably fly very fast Iguess. Well timed shot Richie.
