A scene from the beach at New Brighton, Merseyside on one of the few sunny weekend days this year. The lighthouse is, of course, The Perch Rock Lighthouse that guards the mouth of The River Mersey.

It does look like a postcard Steve. Colors are beautiful and I am sure the tourists would buy this by the dozens. Love the different layers of blue seperated by the sand and buildings. Great post.

Looks very different with a bit of sunshine. Never mind though, the sun didn't last long and you can get back to photographing it in stormy weather as I write this ;-) Nice composition and bright seaside colours.
