I know, I know, Muskie from Deputy Dawg was a Muskrat and this is a Coati at Chester Zoo but I think it looks like Muskie.

I haven't seen a DD cartoon in ages. Thanks for the link. This is a cute shot of the Coati....of which I had never heard of before now. Good work.

A great animal shot, & a intriguing flat pack tree too Mr Braces. :o)
The Deputy Dog upload is the icing on the cake .. hmm I call back later to watch it.

Big brother's watching you :o) A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... Welcome to the last resort. :o)

Good shot of the coati up on the tree there, Steve. In the Hamburg zoo one of them does even rope walking. I had posted such an image a while ago.

Certainly does. You did really good with the lens on such a long zoom, there's no blur and the colour's good too. Looks like you've been having a great time at the zoo recently too.

It's a hog nosed coon. very pretty and different. Chester Zoo seems to have it all.

Either a Muski or a Aardvark doesn't matter that much. More important to me is that you made a very fine capture of this critter Steve.
Regards, Cornelius.

What a unique looking little guy. Love those rings around his
tail..very cute. And love your explanation...Yup, he must be related to a Lemur eh? I'll have to read more about him. Thanx again Steve, I am enjoying all your photos so much. Verena
