This is looking east from the beach at Aldeburgh on the east coast of England. The next land-fall is the Netherlands, home of our great friend Cornelius. Can you see him waving? No, neither can I.

Really like the texture of the pebbled beach and crashing waves are creating Steve. No I can't see him either, but I sure bet he's there waving, lol.

Beautiful capture & colours

Wish you had said this before Steve, as my muscles are sored now by waving all the time, lol.

Like your fine post very much, mate. Well done.

Regards, Cornelius.

He wasn't there, Steve. He was busy taking photos of the English coast from a position more to the left. Like the texture of that beach.

If this were just a little wider on the right side, we could probably see Mr. C. He has great instincts, and knew you were there taking the picture. LOL. Very nice shoreline shot.

I didn't see Sea but I can see he was waving. Great shot and it got me to checking out the map. It is not nearly as far as I would have anticipated. Thanks for the fine photo and the geography lesson Caruso.

I made it to Aldeburgh too this year. Don't think I posted anything from there either. I got obsessed with the martello tower I think. You wouldn't want to swim across this to Cornelius would you!

Nice shot of those waves breaking onto the pebbled beach, but as to where Mr C is, well I think he probably gave up and went home as the lifeboat kept wanting to pick him up!!! ha ha

This is indeed a very lovely shot of a desolate beach with the waves crashing upon the shore. I love it!

But wait... I think I see Cornelius enjoying a glass of red wine at an outdoor cafe... can't quite make out the label on the bottle though...

I love the simplicity of this shot and I can hear the sound of the waves as they wash up the stone-strewn shore...
