The view across The River Dee estuary towards North Wales. This was taken in West Kirby which is on the opposite corner of the Wirral Peninsular from "Glorious" New Brighton (which is part of Wallasey).
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
The scene suits the wide format to make a most attractuve image Steve. Ah - West Kirby (Kerby)place of memories of 'days out' and sand in the sarnies :)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I see two lighthouses, five birds playing follow-the-leader, and a whole bunch of cool lines and layers, all in good focus. One could easily call this minimalism and the pano treatment really lends itself well to the subject. Nicely done. Maybe you should have waited just a bit to submit this one; it's tiny features in a vast space would have been a perfect entry into what's obviously going to be the next contest, "Big Space - Little Space."
