I have no idea what these are called but I do know that they are a certain type of Lichen and I know that they are very rare. I hope you like!

A wonderful find in your Spring filled state Paul. Put me in the I haven't seen one either. I have a beer stein but not a Lichen Stein.

That's actually a bit scary eh?! Seen plenty of Lichen, but never ones with "feelers" Yikes! Hope they aren't poisonous. In Washington and ORegon, a person is liable to find just about any kind of 'shroom related growth! All this wetness does it I imagine! They do look a bit venus fly trappy dont they ( is trappy a word ?) I love the water droplets on the normal looking green plants. What a great upload this is, and I wonder if anyone knows what its called??

Fascinating indeed and a wonderful find, Paul! I really like all the different types of vegetation in this shot! My guess would be that it comes from the Begonia or Coleus family, as I know that by laying down a single Begonia leaf in soil, it propagates by roots on the underside of the leaf. Super capture my friend! :)
