Since 1928 this Marquee has been lighting up downtown Portland. It sits on the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall that has been totally renovated. The glass front building to the left is the Columbia Sportswear headquarters. And the building that has the reflections on it is the famous and haunted Heathman Hotel. This is a little out of my standard of picture taking but I figured why not! Hope you like!

You are improving by leaps and bounds Paul. The composition is really good. The Lamp Post and the Marquee really add to this shot. I like the lighting.

And yet you still managed to get some sunset colour into your photo. Amazing! :)
An interesting scene, Paul. Wonderful lighting, colours and reflections. Nice clarity and details in your shot. Good work.

This is really special, Paul. Even without a spectacular sunset in your viewfinder, you can still create magic. I especially like the contrast between the warm colours of the Heathman Hotel and the cool blue of the skyscraper behind it.

I like the effects. Did you do any manipulations? I think I'm going to Canby tomorrow to photograph the dahlias. You should get over to Swan Island Dahlia farm.

I love the old town feel of this part of town. The old style lamp post with the old style theatre! Fantastic city shot!
