I counted the rings on one of the roots and came up with 500 so who knows how old the whole tree was! It may long dead but it still used for kids to play on. Hope you like

I would have given up after counting 50 rings. An interesting capture Paul. This must have been a giant among giants at one time. Nice composed and presented.

Do you have one just like it in the back yard for kids to play on? LOL. Beautiful colors and clarity in this, Paul. Well done.

Paul - Lots of fingers and toes in counting this old tree! Nicely composed with the large live trees surrounding this trunk. Thad

It looks like a good place for "The Old Woman Who Lived In A Show," to relocate Paul. I would love to see them in person.

It does look like a very old & grand tree. Love the denseness of the forest you captured as well as the green & reddish brown textures. Outstanding capture Paul.

Does look like it has a little life still in it or else it has other smaller trees growing in it. Very nice capture.

I would so love to see these trees for real. That stump is just so interesting, and over 500 years old, wow. I like that its still sustaining life.
