During one of my picture taking trips I was crossing a creek and saw this guy! He wanted his picture taken so here he is. We, up here, call these critters "Crawdads" And they get pretty big. This one was the length of my size 10 shoes. Some at the mouth of the Columbia River can get close to lobster size. Wouldnt want to step on one of them. Enjoy

Boil a pot of water, throw in some ears of corn, potatoes and the crawdads and you have a feast. Don't forget to invite the Clampetts.

I probably wouldn't have even noticed this crawdad ... good eye Paul. They do look similar to a lobster. I like the natural colors & the bit of lighting on their claws. Nicely captured, Paul.

Really cool image Paul and brings back memories when my brother and I would go down to the waterfall and creek on our property and catch krafish or crawdad's. Great eye and capture

Boy, that's a neat shot. I'd have mistaken him for a lobster. Wouldn't want you to step on him either. He makes a wonderful conversational desktop.
