This is the Salmon Berry blossom that Spring has brought out for us to see for a while. I dont do very many flower shots so bear with me on this one. Any pointers?
Great shot of this wonderful "fish", Paul. But the color is somehow different. LOL I also thought that salmon is only a fish, but I prefer this beauty.
It is a beauty of a flower and looks like a dancing figure to me. A little sharper focus perhaps is about all that's needed. Back up just a tad or us MF. Please bring us more unusual flowers like these.

I agree with Bob on this Paul - tighter crop and a little tighter focus or shift the focal point slightly to the left so the whole flower is in tight focus. This reminds of a poinsettia in its shape and petals - love the color!
I have no pointers to add to those already given. lovely soft colours and lighting in your photo. Nice details in the petals and dof. Thanks for sharing.
L-O-V-E it!!! Beautiful bursting pink and the blur you did to the background is perfect....spotlights this little one very well. ~Kim **I agree! You should do more florals
Excellent shot, Paul. The colors in this shot are terrific. I don't have any other tips that haven't already been mentioned, other than to spend more time in the garden finding shots like this one. Well done.
