Asteroidea In Gold and Green looked like starfish on land to me and thus the name. It was shot in October in Highbanks Metro Park.

You are absolutely right, like starfish on land, the soft effect is giving the water impression. Colors are also magnificent John. It's a very nice image.

This is a classic use of orton, yellow flowers emerging from green foliage. I like the way it looks like suns shining out; I think I find the degree of blur on the flower to the right a bit distracting, but overall this is successful.
