What a most emotionally charged photo! It can bring about all sorts of moods in my mind and heart, especially with the quotes you have here. I love Mark Twains words. There is a book you ought to read..maybe you have..it's called "The Diary of Adam and Eve" It's fairly new and wonderfully written by Mark Twain.

Back to your great use of light and shadows Shads. Such a great scene and I believe it is the rays of sunshine beyond the trees that really shows hope that makes this one special. Excellent.

Firstly, I love the quotes. They fit the image so well. I couldn't help but laugh at the Mark Twain quote, the first thing in my mind...babies! Back to the photo... I like the way the light highlights the various shades of green. The rays of light, the road/path along with your quotes convey hope in the journey to me.
