Smokey Robinson might be able to explain this, but I can't. LOL. A great image though, John. I like it.

A fascinating creation, John. I like the various textures as well as the layered shapes ... appears as if something has been shattered or broken. Very well done.

John - I'm hearing Smokey Robinson! This will be a work to return to several times to take it all in; there's much to study here. Thad

I remember talking to a cannibal that had just finished eating a clown. I asked him how it was and he said "it tasted funny."

This clown looks like he has been twisted all his life and the tears are trying to vanquish his past. Great work Shads.

Your choice of lighting and colors make this appear 3-dimensional. I don't like clowns so I am not sad that this one has tears. lol

I was wondering what was in this work so charming and went a step back and look at this again. That's it! I saw the 'hidden' eye and everything was in place. Great work my friend.

To me, I see the one the clown cries for. : ) The beauty and the angst rolled into the mourning lover's memory. Captivating color tones and imagery.... Partially jagged, partially smooth like all of our bittersweet memories.

So as Cindy, I do not like clowns, but I do not see a clown here and your work is fantastic, John! Love the colors and lighting, so as the forms. Super!
