The Ducks' Pond Veil Covering

There is a faint jet stream cutting across the sky. I had debated with myself if I should or should not clone it out.

As you can see, leaving it in won out. A little of mankind's intrusion into an otherwise more pure nature scene.

I'd be hard pressed to complain about that little bit of vapor. I'm more interested in what happened among the clouds on the right amid the foliage. A nice capture, John. Good lighting and colours.

Hi, John...

I spotted the jet stream (contrails that I refer to as entrails) and thought it was a seam at first. While I have no idea how to stitch a shot together, folks on Caedes are always remarking like, "This posting was stitched together from 6 shots." But that's neither here nor there.

This posting is a perfect illustration of the difference among the posters on Caedes. I would have trampled my way though the undergrowth to get an open shot of the pond while you're letting nature be itself.

Excellent colors, no noise, nicely composed and some really nice light and dark contrast that adds depth to the shot. That was more of a listing than a sentence. I apologize for my poor grammar.

John - What a gorgeous setting. You nailed the lighting, a tricky venture with the varied contrasts in the scene, to maintain vibrant colors and wonderful clarity. Thad

---I had debated with myself if I should or should not clone it out.---

If you had not told me, John, I would not, even on full screen, have noticed this because all my attention was drawn to the beautiful pond rimmed with plants.

Think's it wise to let it in, because it belongs to our dayly life now.

Thanks for this wonderful post.

Regards, Cornelius.

Hardly even noticeable, John. I'd have left it too. I love the duck'se eye view of the marshy pond and the wonderful colors you captured here.

I feel like Elmer Fudd going Duck Hunting by slipping through the grasses, Shads. I get so overcome by the beauty I shoot myself in the foot.
I remember a western movie from years ago where a jet was flying across the sky and leaving a trail. The audience cheered and some wondered why.
Excellent work my cryptic friend.
