John, during my college years little was known about quantum chromodynamics. Only in the late 1960s and early 1970s, more became known. Wikipedia didn't exist yet, so I had to gather my knowledge from open sources. Not exactly conducive to fully understanding the subject.
Many years later a step further was made and our insight into this complex matter has improved considerably. This improved insight gives me a better understanding of the essence of your, perfectly done, render.
In my humble opinion you did a great job visualizing it. Once again extremely well done.

Well, my knowledge of Quantum Physics is nil and I would have imagined Quarks and Cerns to be birds (not to be confused with Quails and Terns lol). However, that does not prevent me from appreciating and enjoying this amazing image and your narrative.

It sort of looks to me to be a drone capture from directly overhead above a twin of the Chrysler Building in New York, this one instead, made of brass plate.
