Another one from my 'shoebox', as I captured those wading wild horses in March, 2008 in the nature preserve 'Middelplaten, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
'Middelplaten' was laying in the past at the sea side of the sea-bank and was flooded by the sea every time at high tide.
The sea has become an artifical lake with some small islands now, which is called 'Lake of Veere', so 'Middelplaten' stays dry now at high tide.
In the distance you can see the former sea-bank, and behind this sea-bank a small part of the peninsula North Beveland.

Beautiful, Cornelius, a very nice shot. The horses are in sharp focus and I can even see the port and starboard buoys in the channel very clearly. The sky behind also looks wonderful!

We don't have any wild horses at the wildlife preserves around here, but I wish we did. I don't think I could have gotten as beautiful a shot as this, though. What great color, and what a great scene. Everything is gorgeous. My compliments, Mr. C.

A beautiful shot with wonderful color and I like the way the background just sort of fades away to draw emphasis to the foreground. Planned or unplanned, it makes for a very lovely composition.

This photo is alive with colour!!! Absolutely gorgeous.
