This is the sixth image of a series, consisting of 7 images, called 'Kite-Surfing'.
On this image you can see that another kite-surfing daredevil just has gone air-borne as well. I was told that it's very difficult to get the board under control again just after it has landed back on the water.
Images are taken on Sunday, May 10th 2009, at a beach on the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

A sudden downward draft of wind and he will hit the water hard. I can see how dangerous this sport is. Nice action photo again, Cornelius, with great clarity.

What I notice in this series most of all is the focus. The nice focus of your camera and the intense focus of the kite surfers on the task at hand. Thanks for introducing me to this different and dangerous form of entertainment.

It's probably harder to get the board under control on water, than it would be to get one of those skateboards under control on the ground. That's sport looks very difficult. Nice capture of that guy in action.
